Developer license · free

Request the developer license.

Free for developers and individuals — personal, hobby, educational, research, and evaluation use. A few honest answers, a quick review, and you get access to the distribution and the build manual. This is how access is granted and how the terms are met, not a marketing funnel.

Tell me who you are and what you'll build

Nothing here is used for marketing. These answers establish eligibility for the free license and are required before access is granted. The form is a drop box, not a door — it drops your request into a watched folder for review, and has no route into the network itself.

We ask because U.S. export rules treat providing controlled software to a person as an export to their country, wherever that person is standing. It's a screening step, not a judgement.

Eligibility — please confirm all three

If you want to work on it

Entirely optional — the licence does not depend on any of it

FrogNet is built by a small number of people and there is more to do than we can do. If you want to work on some part of it, tell us which — it costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If you don't, leave this blank; it has no bearing on your licence.

Worth knowing before you answer: access is to the distribution under the licence terms — the source is not published. The protocol is headed for an open specification, and that is what most of this work is against. The ten subsystems → The two non-code teams → Or take it and learn from it →
