Let Us Build Your FrogNet

Want a FrogNet but don’t feel comfortable building your own?  We’ve got you covered!

We have some Raspberry Pi 4 computers, and some routers, and we’d be happy to build a single machine or an entire network for you!  When you get your shipment, you will be able to turn it on and start using your FrogNet immediately.

Here are the the details:

The Computer

We start with the computer.  These are Raspberry Pi 4 computers, with either 2GB or 4GB of memory (luck of the draw).  Each machine comes with a case and power supply.  Your kit may not look exactly like this one.

When you place your order, please provide the domain name you would like to use.  The domain name is just the friendly name you use to refer to the network, and it can be anything you like, as long as there are no other machines with the same name connected to your network.

Your purchase includes a FrogNet source license.

The Router

Router options are explained on this page

Choose the router class you want to use with your FrogNet.  If you have a particular router in mind, tell us in the comments and we’ll see if we can accommodate you.

The price we are listing for each router is the price for our preferred router in that class.  If you request a substitution that is more expensive than our default, we will inform you, then charge you for the difference.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. (Optional) The Antenna

The internal antenna on the Pi computers is not a WiFi 6 antenna and will not give you the best results.  If speed is not important, it will work just fine, but if speed is a factor you will want this external antenna.

This is the only external antenna we have found that works with Linux and the Raspberry Pi.  We will install the drivers on your FrogNet Host computer so it’s ready to go.

FrogNet Configuration Service

We put it all together, give it the name you want, and test it out.  What we ship you will work out of the box as a stand-alone FrogNet, and we will show you how to connect it to your WiFi to share the Internet.
